Surf City Marathon 2018

Introduction

Weather was great – for volunteers, but a bit warm for runners. We set up next to the Bolsa Chica State Beach Multi-Use (Bike) Path, shortly after mile 21 of the marathon. Download course map

Volunteers

Big thanks to Alan, Andrew, their families, Michae, Nina, and my wife, Cathy for showing up and helping out, and of course, our dog Kay for keeping us all entertained with his puppy antics.

Cathy and I tried to shoot (with my camera) any barefoot or interesting runners (and cute dogs too).

Feel free to download and/or link to any photos here for your social media, websites, or other publications – I only ask that you give us credit (eg: “photos by: Ken Bob Saxton at BarefootRunning.com”).

Here are some of the photos I cherry-picked from all the photos we took today. There are many more at Google Photos

Enjoy,
-Barefoot Ken Bob
